about

In the distant winter of 2002, two totally different musical expressions, from totally different regions, decided to unite for one goal: to delve deep into the confines of the now extinct and traumatic childhood, bringing the worst and most harmful of our so nostalgic golden years that we both try to forget. From this union, here comes a long and delayed 4 years later, one of the most absurd and hypnotic partnerships in the history of world music: OS LEGAIS & WILLIE KAMPFF

In a split CD that contains no less than 35 songs, alternated between the two groups, you will hear The Legals in a raw state: without the innocence and lyrical and musical simplicity of your first releases, the band performs its most disturbing, irritating and unhealthy of his whole existence. Forget about the traditional drum sound of rock bands, it does not exist here. What we have here is the wonderful battery of cardboard, styrofoam, paint cans and wheelbarrow used extensively in the early days of the band and here recorded at its best. The noise that invades our unprepared ears and makes us drown the soul in a dive without return, in the Brazilian culture of Brazil, which OS LEGAIS reconstructs ruthlessly, disfiguring the tenderest childhood memories of his generation. Accompanying the Supreme Triumvirate, which recorded the almost whole disc in trio, we have more than special participation of the children's choir DREAM OF WHOLE: where the children's voices have nothing angelic or childish, getting closer to what is the true representation of death and damnation of hell, the choir of souls in their lament of eternal pain and suffering.

Lacus Ernico, from the band's original lineup and J.W. Kielwagen (known for being the thinking mind ahead of SPINDOVE and a constant collaborator of Bulhorgia) collaborate on an endless range of instruments throughout the album. As if it were not enough, in the song "Free to Fly" there is a partnership with the São Paulo OBJETO AMARELO group, which recorded with The Legals in one of its passages in Santa Catarina, with a totally unprecedented result in relation to the work of the Object.

Alternating in the chaos, we are pleased to feel the seeming and disconcerting tranquility of the Canadian WILLIE KAMPFF, with its totally unscrupulous sound and without standards of comparison. Out of the confines of the obscure Canadian Black Metal scene, Willie has just his voice and a guitar ready, but make no mistake, you've never seen or heard anything like what he does here. His hypnotic instrumental and disconcerting voice will divide his brain into two distinct slices: one filled with love, tenderness and joy of life, and the other filled with the deepest dread, despair and death. Absorbed in the memories of his unimaginable childhood, Kampff likes to define himself as the modern version of the rat flute player and brings out the innocence of the cantigas de roda, mixed with the sad constant rhythm of funeral processions. His guitar is a substitute for the flute, which transforms the listeners into rats, producing the perfect march towards the most complete decadence and psychological self-destruction of the listener. SIMPLY A MUST SEE !!! Your head will never be the same !!!

Keeping up with the tradition of Bulhorgia quality you already know, this split comes packaged in a luxurious, ultra-colored package of transparent DVD box, which still comes with an ultra-frosted 36 x 18 double-sided poster. Destroy your head and your life forever with us !!!!!!
